October Beauty Favorites

I can't believe how quickly October went by! I'm pretty sure I say that every month, but somehow it still rings true each time. You all have seen me use most of these goodies before, but I wanted to go a little further and talk about why each one of them made it into my favorite products in October.

This No-Color Powder is a total game changer! I don't set my makeup too often, but if I do, this is the powder I'm reaching for. It's so finely milled that it's looks great for setting any area of the face and is great for "baking". Plus, at just $12 for this 3 oz container, the price is hard to beat!

You all have seen me use this foundation stick so many times! If you know me well, you know that I love foundation, but am also really picky when it comes to finding one I like. This Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Stick Foundation is easy to apply (I brush the top of the stick and apply it to my face that way), has great, build able coverage, and looks very similar to the natural texture of skin. The only challenge I have with this is finding the right shade, so I got samples of the liquid and color matched myself at home in natural sunlight.

I've tried quite a few different mascaras, most of them from the drugstore, and this one is one of my all-time favorites! I love it for my everyday makeup, but you can also build it up to make an impact. I do occasionally have some trouble with clumping with this particular mascara, but a few drops of any eye drops in the tube and it's good to go! Using eye drops in your mascara tube is a great way to thin the product when it starts to get a little too thick for you.

For a concealer that I can grab and use for any makeup look, this one is hands down the one. I have worn this nearly every single day during the month of October. I love that it's coverage is full enough to cover anything and really brighten under my eyes, yet it's also light enough to wear on days that I'm wearing next to no makeup. I also love the almost whipped consistency of it - it feels so good on the skin!

This Pigment from MAC Cosmetics was one you saw in my last blog post. I'd heard about this product here and there over the years, but hadn't actually tried it until this past month. I don't think it's that different from a great shimmery eyeshadow, but I did wear this quite a few times so I had to include it. I chose this shade, tan, because it has a lot of different shades within the color so it can be paired with many different looks and have a different outcome each time.

I think I've used this Dipbrow Pomade in almost every single makeup look I've shared on Seasons of Style! I didn't start "doing" my brows until sometime this year because I had decent color, thickness, and shape naturally. However, the first time I had a makeup artist at Ulta apply a brow product to my face, I was sold! It was crazy how much of an impact that one little step had on my entire face! The first brow product I ever purchased was a brow pencil from Benefit Cosmetics, but soon tried Anastasia Beverly Hills products due to the great reviews and I personally really like her products. This pomade made it to my favorites this month because each time I do my makeup, this is the brow product I'm reaching for. It's surprisingly fairly easy to use and I like the finished look.

I think every girl needs that intense, pure black eyeliner in her makeup collection for those times when you really want to bring up the volume and this is hands down my favorite. I tried this product years ago and really liked it, but after a few times of getting too hot in my car while traveling, it dried out and I decided to try other products. I just recently purchased this again and instantly fell back in love! As you've seen in recent posts, I've been using the MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack, but compared to this, it's basically gray. This gel eyeliner from Maybelline is as deep black as an eyeliner can be. I would highly recommend trying this if you're looking for a great black eyeliner and it's only around $8 from your local drugstore.

Thanks for reading this post on Seasons of Style and I hope you liked it! Please share what beauty products you couldn't live without this month!
