in honor of the sale kicking off today, i wanted to share my current makeup routine and my go-to products for getting ready. some of these products are ones that i've been using for years and you all have seen so many times before (but they really are just that good!) and some are more recent finds that have become something i keep reaching for day after day. 

eyeshadow was one of the first ever makeup products i ever used - and by used as a teenager, i mean picked the funnest color with all the shimmer that looks best for coachella and not real life. thank goodness i've learned a bit since then and thought i'd share one of my tried and true tips with you!

put a bit of a light shimmery shade of eyeshadow in the inner corner of your eye and just under the arch of your brow to open your eyes and give you that fresh and well rested look. this visibly opens the eyes, reduces darkness, and lifts the eyebrows which is always flattering!
